ECCS was well represented by our swim team at the Primary Interschool Carnival last 3rd April 2019. They represented our school with pride and respect, and were well behaved throughout the day.
Each of our 15 swimmers have trained hard all term by attending early morning training sessions 2-3 times a week. All their hard work definitely paid off, as all students (some of whom started training unable to swim 12m) swam in at least two 50m events today.
Our school was represented in 31 out of 43 events and placed 8 out of 10 schools at the end of the day.
Congratulations to Azarl Tanveer (Year 6) who received runner up champion boy.
A big thank you to Laynie, Deborah and Denzel who came and helped with the pre-race marshalling. Also a BIG thank you to Mrs Jocelyn Leathard, Mr Graeme Leathard and Miss Rebecca Dobrich for helping with all the early morning training sessions.
