The 2018 Book Week was a huge success! Here are some comments from the teachers:
So many of the students dressed up as character’s from all kinds of books. There were Harry Potter characters, fairies, princesses. A few of the staff dressed up as dalmatians from 101 Dalmatians. I look forward to book week in 2019!

Each year, schools and public libraries across Australia spend a week celebrating books, and Australian authors and illustrators. This year Emmanuel Christian Community School got involved! Students and teachers from all grades came dressed as their favourite book characters. Our characters ranged from Dalmatians, to princesses and superheroes. The Year 5 class also made their way down to Casserley campus and read to the pre-primary students. We can’t wait for book year in 2019. How many books will you read before then?
