About the School
Emmanuel Christian Community School is a co-educational K-12 school established in 1982 located in Perth’s northern suburbs. We are a ministry of Girrawheen Baptist Church and passionate about training and educating the whole person. In 2020 we offered Year 12 for the first time and double stream from K-10 serving a population of over 700 students.
The Principal invites applications from suitably qualified, inspired, Christian educators for the position of Secondary Teacher – Health & Physical Education (full-time) commencing Term 1, January 2021.
Selection Criteria
- Actively support and promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School.
- Demonstrate capacities in the selected curriculum.
- ATAR Physical Education Studies
- General Physical Education Studies
- Outdoor Recreation
- Health and Physical Education
- Be an enthusiastic team collaborator, motivated and committed to being part of a School that is invested in seeing children reach their God-given full potential.
- Have demonstrated experience in the planning and executing of school and interschool athletics carnivals.
- Be an able physical educator with the capacity to think strategically and consult others.
- Have a commitment to pastoral care and extracurricular activities
- A devoted Christian, an active church member and is called into this ministry.
- Have the capacity to teach Christian Education in a Christian School
- Medium or Heavy Rigid vehicle licence or able to obtain
- Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation or able to obtain
